Making shows accessible is no longer enough! It is also necessary to open the doors of theaters more widely in order to reveal their backstage, trades and architectures.
At the request of the ACCES CULTURE association, Thibaut Louvet designs tactile models in feather and lego cardboard, intended to accompany blind people in the discovery of emblematic cultural places. In collaboration with the speaker Rémi de Fournas, our work aims to apprehend spaces differently, by promoting touch.
To date, 10 models have been made for each of the following locations: Opéra Comique (2013), Opéra de Dijon (2017), Chaillot – Théâtre national de la Danse (2018), L’Archipel, scène nationale de Perpignan (2019).
